NetSim is a one of a kind network modeling app, written by students for students! NetSim allows users to create complicated abstract regulatory networks connecting of nodes and connections through activating and inhibitory links to model any complex system, thing from genetic regulatory networks to decision maps. Most importantly, NetSim will simulate the behavior of each of the nodes in the network over a given period, allowing users to generate graphical displays of the dynamic changes that each node experiences over time. NetSim also gives you the ability to change virtually all aspects of the network (from the strength and sign of a regulatory connection, to the initial values associated with each of its nodes), including features like adding noise to see how randomization could affect the dynamic behavior of a system results of values over time, or self-referencing links to model direct feedback.
NetSim also allows you to share networks with other users with the tap of a button. Users can download networks created by others using a short and unique alphanumeric code, make changes to its configuration or initial parameters, and upload their modifications to be shared, without worrying about changing the original network. This feature makes NetSim an extraordinary tool for teachers and students who want work on group projects and assignments.
